| TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Placing an advertisement order will be deemed to imply acceptance
of the following standard conditions. Any other conditions stipulated
on orders from the Advertiser or its Agents will be deemed void
in so far as they are in conflict with these conditions.
1. The Publisher reserves the right to refuse, omit or change
the position of any advertisement.
2. The Publisher will not be liable for any consequential loss
or damage resulting from failure of any advertisement to appear
from any cause whatsoever, nor does the Publisher accept liability
for errors in any advertisement published nor its failure to
appear on a given date.
3. The Advertiser guarantees that the advertisement complies
with the British Code of Advertising Practice and does not contravene
the provisions of the Trade Descriptions Act.
4. The Advertiser will indemnify the Publisher fully in respect
of any claim arising out of publication of the advertisement,
including any loss, damages or expenses arising from the use
by the Advertiser of any authorised name, photograph, sketch
or words protected by copyright or trademark.
5. The Publisher will not be responsible for any damage to or
loss of any artwork, film, drawings or other material supplied
for the purpose of an advertisement.
6. Should the Advertiser fail to provide copy by the due date
as set out on this Rate Card, the Publisher reserves the right
to publish the name and address of the Advertiser, or copy held
from previous insertion, in the space ordered and invoice for
the same.
7. Cancellations will only be accepted at the Publisher's discretion,
up to 28 days prior to copy date and subject to a cancellation
fee of 33% of the advertisement(s) ordered.
8. Payment due within 14 days of invoice date. Prepayment is
required on all orders under £100 and on other orders at the
Publisher's discretion.
9. Colour rates exclude the cost of four-colour film separations
and chromalin, which must be provided by the Advertiser.
10. Classified advertisements will be set in house style unless
otherwise arranged. Orders subject to a series discount must
be completed within 12 months. If a cancellation results in
an advertiser failing to reach agreed insertion levels to qualify
for the series discount, the Advertiser will be surcharged on
prior insertions at the one-time rate as set out on this Rate
Card.
