ASIA PACIFIC: FOBAS issues alert on contaminated fuel at Singapore

The fuel testing agency is investigating samples of bunker fuel supplied at the Port of Singapore after vessel reports of operational problems such as seizing and damage of fuel pumps and excessive sludging and filter blocking.
