TFG Marine has reported that members of its team were onboard the company’s supply vessel Sea Emperor in Walvis Bay, Namibia this month, working with personnel from Endress+Hauser and Metcore to oversee the installation and verification of an ISO 22192-compliant mass flow meter (MFM) and provide training to the crew on its operation.
In a notice posted on LinkedIn this morning (23 August), TFG Marine said the Sea Emperor is the 15th vessel in its fleet to be equipped with MFM technology.
TFG added: ‘We wish to see the exemplary marine fuel supply standards set by the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) rolled out globally. We are proud to now have all our bunkering barges currently operating in Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp (ARA) with ISO 22192- compliant mass flow meters and we are well on our way to achieving this across on the majority of our supply fleet within the next two years.’
