AMERICAS: Diesel price hike post-2020 set to impact Latin American bunker market

Latin America is worried about 2020 – there has been little nvestment in refinery upgrades because of a shortage of capital, and the continent is a major importer of diesel, which will become more expensive due to IMO 2020, Adrian Tolson told delegates at this week’s Maritime Symposium in Santiago.
