Vitol Bunkers has added a deepwater supply point to its US Gulf Coast and Caribbean offering which will be served by a new addition to its fleet, Mt Morholmen.

The new offshore service complements Vitol Bunkers existing presence in port locations across the United States which include Houston (Port Arthur, Beaumont, Lake Charles, Freeport, Galveston, Texas City) New Orleans, Lower Mississippi River and the Caribbean locations of St Eustatia, St Maarten, St Kitts and St Barth.

As previously reported, Vitol Bunkers was launched in May with its parent company Vitol highlighting its ‘global reach, infrastructure and commensurate supply capabilities’.

Vitol has a 50% interest in the Dubai-headquartered marine fuel trader Cockett Marine Oil, In April 2020 it entered the physical supply market in Singapore with the purchase of Sinanju Tankers Holdings, and this business now operates as V-Bunkers.
