The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) has announced that the bunker supplier and bunker craft operator licences of Sentek Marine & Trading Pte Ltd will expire on 3 February.
The MPA had taken steps to remove the company’s bunkering licences in mid-September but they had been extended to allow time for Sentek Marine & Trading Pte to submit appeals against the decision.
Announcing the end date for the company’s licences in a Port Circular, the MPA said that: ‘All bunker licensees, including bunker suppliers and bunker craft operators, are reminded to comply strictly with all the terms and conditions of the respective bunker licence(s).
‘MPA will not hesitate to take firm action against any licensee that contravenes any of its bunker licence terms and conditions…’
Sentek Marine & Trading Pte was listed in fifteenth place on the MPA list of bunker suppliers by volume in 2023.
