The Port of Rotterdam has reported bunker sales volumes of 2,218,924 cubic metres (cbm) for the second quarter (Q2), down from 2,249,027 cbm for the same period last year.
Fuel oil sales totalled 1,780,227 cbm – down from 1,802,538 cbm. Sales of marine gasoil (MGO) were also down year-on-year, at 341,838 cbm from 351,118 cbm. However, marine diesel oil (MDO) sales were pretty much unchanged at 78,535 cbm (compared to 78,622 cbm in Q2 2019).
Lube sales were actually up – from 16,749 cbm to 18,323 cbm – and LNG sales grew more than fourfold, from 14,043 cbm to 58,522 cbm.
