Netherlands-based Titan has bunkered AIDA Cruises’ AIDAnova for the first time in Hamburg with its 5,200 cbm-capacity Green Zeebrugge bunker vessel.

The operation, which was completed on 11 November, saw approximately 1,244 cubic metres of LNG delivered to the 2018-built vessel at the Steinwerder Cruise terminal.

‘This operation exemplifies our commitment to sustainable maritime practices and showcases the efficiency and viability of our cleaner solutions,’ the company said in a social media post today (21 November).

‘This operation would not have been possible without the close cooperation between all parties. We, therefore, would like to thank the crew of both vessels who did an excellent job, Cruise Gate Hamburg and AIDA Cruises for trusting us!’

As previously reported, Titan took the Green Zeebrugge, previously known as Engie Zeebrugge, on long-term charter in February 2021.
