Oil trading company Orim Energy has opened an office in the European fuel trading hub Geneva to support its growth ambitions in the Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp (ARA) and Mediterranean regions.

In a press release issued today (1 October), the company highlighted that Geneva’s strategic location will ‘enhance access to key oil trading partners, markets and sources, facilitating efficient operations.’

Orim Energy also announced the appointment of senior fuel oil trader Leon Dijkhuizen as its Global book leader Fuel Oil, based in Geneva. He will be responsible for streamlining operations and driving fuel oil trade.

Headquartered in the Netherlands, the company also has operations in Belgium, Greece and Malta.
