Molgas Energy Group has announced it has started the supply of bio-LNG at the Port of Zeebrugge.
In a social media post yesterday (20 March), Madrid-based Molgas said that the first deliveries started in January, ‘with multiple operations running smoothly’. The company confirmed that more deliveries are already scheduled in the coming weeks.
‘The Port of Zeebrugge as a key hub for bio-LNG fuelled vessels dealing with FuelEU Maritime, enabling us to serve the marine customers efficiently,’ said Molgas. ‘Through our multi-truck to ship (MTTS) process, we successfully manage deliveries of 200-300 tonnes simultaneous to the vessels operation (SIMOPS), demonstrating our operational excellence and flexibility.’
As Bunkerspot reported earlier this week, on Sunday (16 March), Netherlands-based Titan Clean Fuels completed the first LNG and bio-LNG bunkering operation of a new multi-delivery contract for Mitsui O.S.K. Lines’ vehicle carrier fleet at the the Port of Zeebrugge.
