GLOBAL: Trio exploring potential for nuclear-powered emergency response vessels

Lloyd’s Register (LR) has announced that it will be working with the Australian ship design group Seatransport and Houston-based Deployable Energy to develop nuclear power generation for a range of applications, including vessels designed to provide emergency response and disaster relief duties in remote areas.
