AFRICA: Twenty countries sign Nairobi Declaration, calling for carbon taxes to fund transport decarbonisation

Gathered together at the Africa Climate Summit in Kenya this week, representatives from 20 African countries signed the Nairobi Declaration, calling on world leaders to support a proposed global carbon taxation regime which would include carbon taxes in the maritime and aviation sectors.
