GLOBAL: Allianz: Vessels in the ‘shadow fleet’ involved in 50 incidents

Insurer Allianz has highlighted that the cost of dealing with incidents related to the ‘shadow’ tanker fleet (which has grown following the imposition of international sanctions on Russian oil and gas exports after the invasion of Ukraine) ‘often falls on governments or other vessels’ insurers if one is involved in an incident.’

GLOBAL: FOBAS flags ‘imminent’ publication of ISO 8217: 2024
